There's one thing that we are afraid to confront

I still try to fathom how
most of the people who were musicians at that time survived
we were always being watched
we met a roadblock and we got stopped
and they asked us for our passports
and they said to us
'we're watching you and we know what you guys are up to'
the authorities didn't like it
if they find you hanging out somewhere trying to make music
you got arrested and you went to jail

its just one moment in history
that just touches at the heartstrings of any human being
you can't lie to people forever
when they discover the truth
they will tell the truth
its critical that one has a free voice
we are all influenced by events around us
we'll always want to emulate what is good in others
I'll always believe that humility is one of the best virtues
there are those who make efforts to try and advance this country
but sadly there are those who are dragging the country backwards
